DEEP NATURE CONNECTION

MENTORING

We offer Deep Nature Connection experiences, camps and workshops for the whole ohana (family) on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is our mission to use nature mentoring, connective practices, and the core routines to ignite deep nature connection. Our focus is on connecting people to nature through ancient techniques, such as Coyote Mentoring, wilderness survival, and ancestral living skills.

NATURE
CULTURAL

"Through nature connection and cultural mentoring, we provide transformational experiences that awaken people's unique gifts, deepen their relationship with nature, and empower them to enrich the health of their communities." - Wilderness Awareness School

"Wild Awakening was a magical experience with Mariah. The 4 of us loved being immersed in the rainforest, "fox-walking and owl-watching," going barefoot for a bit to feel the earth, hearing our wayfinder Mariah's stories, and tasting fresh guava from a tree. This is a rare adventure. We all highly recommend it, and Mariah as a joyful, informative guide! We became friends, and treasure our time together on sacred Hawaii." - Pamela

"What a beautiful weekend. I found this coyote mentoring weekend to be a great and fun introduction to nature connection. Even though it was a short time, I left with a sense of community and energized and a desire to connect deeper." - Shane

My Coyote Mentoring weekend left me inspired on every level! I learned so much, gaining skills and knowledge of activities that deepen my relationship with nature and will allow me to share this with others. Mariah provided a space to connect, not only with nature, but with each other as well, offering a true sense of community. I left this weekend feeling deeply enriched! -Steve

"Thank you, Mariah, for providing such an immersive nature experience for my children. Through your camps, my children have developed skills, passion, and reverence for nature that they will carry with far into the future. Your dedication to honoring Hawaiian culture and the gifts our elders have left us is inspiring, and I am profoundly grateful!" -Steve, parent

The joy my son expresses on a Journey day is worth a hundred 5 star review. Mariah's ease with nature, children, and Hawaiian culture is organic. I am thankful for the lessons and teachings she shares, and the unique opportunity she provides to enhance my child's daily life through nature mentoring. (P.S. always send extra extra pants. For real!) - Anna
