Journeys in the Na'au

We offer Deep Nature Connection experiences, camps and workshops for the whole ohana (family) on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is our mission to use nature mentoring, connective practices, and the core routines to ignite deep nature connection. Our focus is on connecting people to nature through ancient techniques, such as Coyote Mentoring, wilderness survival, and ancestral living skills.

"Through nature connection and cultural mentoring, we provide transformational experiences that awaken people's unique gifts, deepen their relationship with nature, and empower them to enrich the health of their communities." - Wilderness Awareness School

The joy my son expresses on a Journey day is worth a hundred 5 star review. Mariah's ease with nature, children, and Hawaiian culture is organic. I am thankful for the lessons and teachings she shares, and the unique opportunity she provides to enhance my child's daily life through nature mentoring. (P.S. always send extra extra pants. For real!) - Anna

"What a beautiful weekend. I found this coyote mentoring weekend to be a great and fun introduction to nature connection. Even though it was a short time, I left with a sense of community and energized and a desire to connect deeper." - Shane

"Thank you, Mariah Mann, for introducing Coyote Mentoring to the Big Island. I loved the magic of deep nature connection, the Aloha in the community, and having new doors opening to knowledge.

Mahalo!" - Nelani

"Wild Awakening was a magical experience with Mariah. The 4 of us loved being immersed in the rainforest, "fox-walking and owl-watching," going barefoot for a bit to feel the earth, hearing our wayfinder Mariah's stories, and tasting fresh guava from a tree. This is a rare adventure. We all highly recommend it, and Mariah as a joyful, informative guide! We became friends, and treasure our time together on sacred Hawaii." - Pamela

"Truly feeling blessed to have been a part of the Coyote Mentoring training, connecting and learning how to be in nature feels good to the soul. It leaves you inspired and invigorated, to get out and into nature! AloHA!" - Sandra
