About The Event
We will be focusing on what our ancestors were doing this time of year. We will discuss traditional activities, such as gathering/harvesting and preserving seasonal la'au (plants), observing the moon phases and storytelling.
This spontaneous adventure will help to heighten your sensory awareness through fun and exciting awareness games (that you can also play with your child and/or students) while boosting your naturalist knowledge. We will help to deepen your pilina (connection) to place through pule, mo'olelo and mele (songs) as you develop a better understanding of, and a closer bond with the incredible diverse plants, birds & animals of Hawaii. We will share concepts of Aloha and Malama Aina (to love and respect the land) and why they are so important.
Lastly, we will discuss ways you can be successful, incorporating some of these transformational practices into your daily life in simple, easily-accomplished ways even amidst an already busy schedule
This is a private event.
